Desc: O What Wonders Are the Children of Men!: Directed by Zachariah Buck, Jesseca Ynez Simmons. Something truly fantastic is happening here in Santa Cruz. This film documents the creative imagination bursting forth from students attending UCSC's class Prophecy Against Empire, from a contemporary dance beneath the redwood trees, to a rejuvenation of Logos Bookstore. It is about an intellectual adventure with ancient roots that bloomed in the 1960s with figures like Santa Cruz's own Norman O. Brown, and recently culminate with the study of the poet William Blake.
